Amazingly healthy ice pops with omega-3s
Ingredients
- 1 banana or 1/2 cup steamed cauliflower stem - really!
- 1 1/2 cup mixed fruit any combination of berries is amazing; mango-pineapple is a favorite; raspberry-peach is quite delish
- 1/2 cup spinach or baby chard or baby kale loosely packed - optional (I only add greens if there are blueberries or blackberries involved)
- 2 pitted dates check to make sure the pits have actually been removed
- 3 Tbsp hemp hearts (shelled hemp seeds)
- 3/4 cup water or juice if you aren't afraid of the extra sugar
- 1/2 to 2 tsp Vegan Omega-3 DHA oil (algae-based) see notes for known products
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a blender and process until totally smooth.
- Transfer to your frozen treat mold or container of choice.
- Wait a few hours and enjoy!
